Pretty good.

Ever played the game Deus Ex? The part around the 2 minute mark could have been a track from one of the night clubs in that game. Has some kind of cyberpunk vibe to it.

Try to make the intro a little shorter, or at least spice it up a bit and it'll be better. Still, good job!

bornacar responds:

tnx for the review:)

Could use improvement, but still pretty good.

To be honest, I didn't really like the drums much. Maybe they were too loud or something, but I just thought they detracted from the calm sound that the original songs try to convey. I also think it got a tad bit too noisy around the 2 minute mark with the synth/guitar track.

Other than those remarks though, I think you got it down pretty nicely. I'm a big fan of Silent Hill 2 as well, so kudos for taking two classic video game pieces and doing something creative with them.

yea i get what ur saying about the drums; i guess i was trying to keep the peaceful tone of the song while making it more upbeat.

to each his own, i say; but thanks for the honest feedback :D

The next time I make a remix with primarily pianos in the melody, i'll try to lower the drums to make it more relaxing.

Woah...

You know, I hear a lot of songs where the sound is really crisp and good/produced, but it lacks some kind of emotional quality. I'd say this is somewhere opposite of that, because while I do think the percussion was a bit intrusive and loud, the overall mood is unmistakable. Just brush up on that and it will be great. I can tell you've got talent.

foooterman responds:

Noted, and thanks for the review.
Hope now is a bit better.

Cool and interesting.

Well, can't say I was too fond of the beginning and the really weird noises, but it picked up around halfway when that distorted kinda sound enters. It got a bit too... should I say 'gravelly' for my taste at times, but all in all, solid work.

RiotFlash responds:

Thanks!
I'm glad you listened long enough to hear the gist of the song, and I'm glad you liked it.
eh, should I experiment more with noise, I'll see to it that the melody comes in before the song is half over.

again, thanks for the review.

Definitely fits the "peace" part...

Soothing little track. I like how you actually got the sliding noise of your hand to sound more pronounced than the actual guitar notes. I also like what sounds like a piano about halfway through.

Good job.

Eblanc responds:

Hey dude, thanks a lot. Yeah, I did put some effort into, and had a lot of details that you may only catch after hearing it twice, or three times. You can make that sound by having dull guitar strings, and raising the high and med frequencies. Try it!

Very tranquil.

Interesting, almost mysterious track. I can definitely see how you came up with the title. I'm trying to think of constructive criticism... though I think the only thing I'll say is; mix it up just a tad bit more and it will be even better.

Keep it up.

OceanPath responds:

Thank you so much! :D Yeah after i made this song the name of it just popped up in my head as i was listening to it ^^

You know...

While I can agree with the other reviewer, what with the sounds being a little lackluster... it does have potential. Just make sure to mix it up a bit! ;)

KuroTheFox responds:

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind.

Great!

Something about this sounds oddly familiar... can't quite place it. However, the playing and composition was great. Keep it up.

robomanus responds:

Thanks ;)
